Since purchasing my first server on eBay back in 2014, I have continuously hosted numerous web services and applications for myself and others. Beginning as a Dell 2950 hosting local shares and a basic webserver, both the hardware and software infrastructure have change countless times.
In November of 2021 I completed a large upgrade process of old hardware, splitting the infrastructure up into 3 different locations. In this new configuration, the two main servers remain in-sync while the third acts as an arbiter in the event that either of the two primary nodes is lost.
The infrastructure runs a number of services for myself, websites for friends and family, as well as some applications offered free for public use.
